In
the year 2000, Carrol Shelby came up with a unique idea. To
build a sleek, roadster with supercar performance powered by
an Oldsmobile engine. The Series 1 has since become one of the
most famous American roadsters in history. |

supercharged 4 litre V8 engine is certainly not as smooth or
refined as some, but it does deliver lots of power - 450 horses
to be exact. Combine these numbers with a curb weight of under
3000 lbs and you get a rocket. |

Acceleration
from 0-60 mph takes only 3.7 seconds and the 1/4 mile can be
run in just 12.1. The exterior styling is unique - as is everything
else about this machine. Today, the Series 1 is a very rare
machine with a price of over $200,000. |
